Students can sign up for Hulu’s ad-supported plan for just $2 monthly

Hulu

There’s some good news for students today with Hulu announcing that they can now get the ad-supported plan with a huge 65% discount. Instead of paying $5.99 monthly, the student discount drops the price all the way down to just $1.99, which is practically nothing.

For the price of a gallon of gas, you’ve got entertainment for the whole month. The single sticking point is that you need to be a student and verify where you go to school via SheerID on the Hulu website. There’s more good news because the student discount is valid for both new and existing subscribers, which means you don’t have to go making a new account and losing all your favorited shows and movies. And, if your friends have Hulu, you can use Watch Party to view the same show or movie with up to seven of them. So there’s no excuse to ever be lonely, even when you have stayed home to catch up on your favorite show instead of heading out to a party.

For the price of $1.99 and sitting through a few adverts, you’ll get access to shows like The Handmaid’s Tale and The Rookie, as well as FX on Hulu’s library of content that includes Fargo, and Archer.

Hulu is available on most platforms such as smart TVs, smartphones and tablets, FireStick’s, Roku’s, Xbox’s, and more. You can even go old school and watch via a browser on your laptop.
