Having already promised to launch a flagship running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 processor, Realme will also unveil another flagship phone that is powered by the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chip. Known as the Race Pro (SD888) and the X9 Pro (Dimensity 1200), the two handsets will sport 160Hz and 120Hz displays respectively.
Along with a 6.8-inch OLED panel with QHD+ resolution and a 160Hz refresh rate, the Realme Race Pro features 125W fast-charging, a big 5,000mAh battery, and a trip of rear cameras consisting of a 64MP main sensor and a couple of 13MP cameras. It will be available with upto 12GB of RAM and 128/256/512GB storage options.
The Realme X9 Pro boasts a slightly smaller OLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, with the rear panel hosting a trio of cameras including a 108MP main camera and a pair of 13MP sensors. The X9 Pro will be available in 128/256GB storage variants with up to 12GB of RAM. There’s a 4.500mAh battery present along with 65W fast charging.
Both the Race Pro and X9 Pro will launch running Realme UI 2.0 which is based on Android 11 and are expected to launch during Q1, so in the next couple of months. From the smattering of specifications made public already, both models would appear to be packing a punch.
