Nokia’s new report, “Know, now, acknowledges some of the new trends, and possible leading technologies in the coming years as the market slowly transition to a fully utilized 5G network. This new report highlights understanding of the signals of opportunities that will help leverage businesses in the new normal society amidst the pandemic.
The new report includes technologies from SpaceX’s Starlink, to up and coming mixed reality applications, Internet of Things (IoT), to Apple’s application of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) on its existing products such as the iPad and the more recent iPhone 12 Pro.
Now, I won’t go into details about the report (you can read it here), but understanding early signs of the trend will help business owners to critically position its company and products for future adoption.
For us consumers, the new report tells us that the future will be more exciting as virtualization takes over the more expensive analog applications. Imagine exploring possible problem areas without disrupting real-world objects like your car. You can easily look at your phone to check and detect which part of the car has issues, or which parts needed a maintenance. This is probably something that we can’t comprehend right now, but sure does give us options.
