Today in a livestream seemingly separate from CES 2021 — who can really say anymore — audio company Anker unveiled its new true wireless earbuds, the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro.
Not to be confused with the Liberty Air 2 or the Liberty 2 Pro, these new earbuds feature active noise cancelling, up to 26 hours of playback time (include the charging capacity of the case), and claims of significantly louder bass. The Soundcore Liberty Air 2 Pro is available now online from the Soundcore store, Amazon, and more in Europe North, Japan, and the United States for $129.99.
The earbuds feature targeted active noise cancelling, which lets you pick from profiles like Transport, Indoor, and Outdoor to better tailor noise cancelling performance to your surroundings. There’s also a new transparency mode, with different levels of ambient sound boost for when you need to hear your surroundings.
The earbuds also have noise cancelling built in for removing annoying sounds.
The case supports charging fast charging via USB-C — 15 minutes of charging will apparently get you three hours of listening — and it’s compatible with Qi-certified wireless charging options. The Soundcore app will also offer a new HearID feature, which will analyze your listening patterns and automatically create a personalized EQ profile (you can always just set your own EQ in the app, too).
