Samsung announced the Galaxy S21 series back on January 14th and the trio of handsets went on general sale today. Those who took advantage of the pre-order deals began receiving their orders yesterday, with Jared getting his hands on the base Galaxy S21 while the Galaxy S21 Ultra arrived at my door. So the big question is – are you picking one up?
Got a new Galaxy S21? Do these 6 things first
The new range consists of the Galaxy S21, the Galaxy S21+, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which are powered by the Snapdragon 888 processor in the US and the Exynos 2100 in Europe.
Pricing
- Galaxy S21: $799
- Galaxy S21+: $999
- Galaxy S21 Ultra: $1,999 (12/128GB)
Thanks to Samsung’s new policy, you don’t get a charger or earphones included in the retail box, and unlike some other brands, you don’t get a basic case either. There is a factory-installed screen protector though.
You can pick up a Galaxy S21 handset directly from Samsung’s online store, from Amazon, B&H Photo, Best Buy, as well as your favorite carrier. The S21 range feels like it offers a touch more value than 2020’s Galaxy S20 series, let us know in the comments section below if you are picking one up for yourself.
