Recent leaks have revealed most, if not all of the Galaxy S21’s hardware but what about its software? Well, have no fear because an intrepid leaker has posted a video showing off the One UI 3.1 goodness, which really doesn’t leave much for Samsung to surprise us with when the Galaxy S21 is launched on January 14th.
The leaker responsible for shining the light on Samsung’s newest One UI iteration is Jimmy is Promo, whom you may remember for his previous Galaxy S21 Ultra reveals. This time it’s One UI 3.1 that is being dissected on video, with features such as the addition of Google’s Discover Feed being an option to choose instead of Samsung Free, the replacement for Samsung Daily.
A funky new feature is “Call Background Videos which plays videos of characters making moves when someone is calling the handset. Other new features include the following:
- Portrait Video
- S Pen support confirmed (again)
- Director preview for Rear Cameras
- Shot resolution on camera screen UI
The Unpacked event on January 14th is when Samsung will officially unveil the Galaxy S21 series, the Galaxy Buds Pro and the new Galaxy Tag. Do you think Samsung has anything left up its sleeves to surprise us with?
